I remember sitting in one of the HYL workshops, learning about the body, and we needed to create a body map to reveal a link between emotional states that could be a cause of pain or complaint from the physical body.
We learnt that it is possible that through family patterns we store so many traumas in our bodies. Connecting with the body through meditations and grounding, as well as using some visualization techniques, I realized that both my body and mind needed a detox, and not just physically, mentally too.
Small doses of self-love everyday can really make a difference. All you need is to be willing. Have you taken time to listen to your body lately? Our bodies are talking to us all the time: hunger, fatigue, and restlessness. Our bodies need to be cared for and looked after; they are our forms of expression in this lifetime.
When was the last time you walked barefoot on the earth? Connected with mother earth. Let the earth heal you and know that you are safe and loved.
